Children's Chorus
Calling all young songbirds! Join our Children's Chorus camp and let your little voices soar! This camp is tailored for our youngest music enthusiasts including extra activities allowing for more frequent but shorter rehearsals.
Who: Students entering 1st-4th grade.
What: Each day, students participate in group & chorus rehearsals, fun musical and non-musical activities, and a couple recreational periods.
When: June 24-28 / 1pm-5pm
Performances: Showcase at the end of camp on Friday, June 28 (time TBA)
Performances: Possible additional performance on Sunday, June 30th
Prerequisites: Absolutely no experience required!
Beginners Band Camp
Experience the joy of learning your first wind instrument! You will get to learn the instrument of your choice, learn the basics of music theory and notation, and play in a group with other beginners. This camp is a fun and rewarding way to start your musical journey and make new friends!
Who: Students entering 4th-6th grade, learning an instrument for the first time.
What: Each day, students participate in music theory, group & band rehearsals, fun musical and non-musical activities, and a recreational period.
When: June 24-28 / 1pm-5pm
Performances: Showcase at the end of camp on Friday, June 28 (time TBA)
Prerequisites: Absolutely no experience required!
Intermediate Band Camp
Who: Students entering 5th-8th grade, with at least 1 year of band experience on the same instrument.
What: Each day, students participate in music theory, group & band rehearsals, fun musical and non-musical activities, and a recreational period.
When: June 24-28 / 1pm-5pm
Performances: Showcase at the end of camp on Friday, June 28 (time TBA)
Prerequisites: Minimum 1 year of band experience (or the equivalent in private lessons) on the same instrument.
Advanced Band Camp
Who: Students entering 5th-12th grade, with at least 2 years of band experience on the same instrument.
What: Each day, students participate in music theory, group & band rehearsals, fun musical and non-musical activities, and a recreational period.
When: June 24-28 / 1pm-5pm
Performances: Showcase at the end of camp on Friday, June 28 (time TBA)
Performances: Possible additional performance on Sunday, June 30th
